Ishan's 4th birthday party at Carne y Vino

On Sunday, 16th October 2011 Ishan, son of Rames and Vidyaah turned 4 at Carne y Vino! Birthday boy was not feeling well but the guests enjoyed the party with delicious buffet line and flow of beer.

Guests starts arriving at 3pm and although it was raining it didn't dampen their party mood :)

With a clown to entertain the kids (more of entertaining the adults!) everyone enjoyed talking to friends and mingle with families that probably everyone meet once in a while at parties like this.

The party theme was "Smurf" so most people came bearing gifts with Smurf label and we decorated the place with blue and silver balloons. Blue was the royal color that Sunday!

It was a lovely evening for both Rames and Vidyaah as they cherished gathering with their family and friends for Ishan's birthday. Thank you to everyone that came and celebrated Ishan's special day!

De Martino Chilean Wine pairing Dinner at Carne y Vino

Last Wednesday was a buzz at Carne y Vino with wines and full crowd of reservations guests enjoying their dinner and 5 types of wines.
Starting off with pre-dinner De Martino Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2010 then on first course of Rocket & Blue Cheese salad pairing with De Martino Organic Sauvignon Blanc.

Second course was our signature Gambas dish paired with De Martino Legado Reserva Chardonnay 2009.
This chardonnay was the favourite among the guests.

Two choices of main course we had that night, Lemon Sole Fish Fillet paired with De Martino Alto de Piedras Carmenere and Carne y Vino signature tenderloin Plate Dry Aged Beef from Argentina with blue cheese sauce paired with De Martino El Mariscal Cabernet Sauvignon 2007.

We finished off the course with Chocolate Granache for dessert which happened to be the favourite dessert at our outlet.
From the response that I get, De Martino Alto Piedras Carmenere was most favoured red wine among the guests!

Enough said, the wine paring dinner was a success and we looked forward for our favourite winers and diners to come visit us at Carne y Vino again for another treat of good wines and good food!

Wine pairing dinner at Carne y Vino

On Wednesday 21st will be a very busy night for Carne y Vino people. We are hosting a wine pairing dinner with principal of De MartinoWines from Maipo Valley featuring best Chilean wine producer awarded by IWC.
Which wine is best paired with Rocket & Blue Cheese salad? You have to be there to find out!
Carne y Vino is featuring its signature dishes for the wine pairing and it is all for RM150++ only :)
